RDA v Fiziev off so what we have now is a solid fight night card if you ignore the main event sadly.

The 2 ladies fights are actually something I am looking forward to a lot, Yan v Rodriguez should be on the main card and Moraz v Agapova genuinely loath each other.

The main event like most I predict a dull 50-43 UD win for Colby, credit to Masvidal for dragging out his 15 mins of fame out but I don't see how he wins this fight.

Not sure where Colby goes after he wins this, he wants no part of Chimaev and I think he needs another win before a 3rd fight with Usman.

    Hardy on the main card😓

Is it true that Makhachev has offered to step in to fight RDA, or just a rumour?

On twitter he did , but who knows what is going on behind the scenes.

Anyway it has been confirmed its Maicano v RDA as co main event which won't be bad but like this card in general its a bit meh.

    Yan was robbed tonight.

Jamie Mullarkey stopped in the second sadly. I thought his game plan was poor, he stood in the face of Turner too often and that's a big mistake. He spoke of winning it in the later rounds but had no chance of that with the punishment he took early.

I get so much pleasure from seeing Greg Hardy getting the crap kicked out of him. Stopped in the first again.

That should be it for Hardy, he is useless and yes I never tire of him been knocked out.

Its been a meh PPV so far, some nice finishes and the Moroz win was so emotional and a genuine lovely moment, but overall not the best.

Also the co main event been a five rounder is a terrible call, who the hell wanted that?

Same old story being the superior wrestler let's you dictate the where fight goes.

Grappling is really dominating the UFC at the moment which is great and all for die hards but not so much for casuals and highlight reels but it's the way the sport has developed I guess.

It was a stinker and real let down of a main card

Too much wrestling and ground and pound on last night's main card.

I can easily see why the fights ended up that way, I mean who would want to stand and trade with Barbosa or Masvidal for example. I think both of these are finished in terms of fighting for a belt. 3 losses in a row for Jorge, it's a young man's game. I'm not sure where he goes from here.

First time in a long time that I haven't bothered watching a numbered card - I would have made the effort if the Fisiev fight hadn't fallen through but when that went by the wayside I lost all interest. A decision win for Covington was the most predictable result ever. Judging by the other fights results it doesn't look like I missed much.

Who exactly is the target demographic for Greg Hardy? Everyone on MMA twitter hates him. He's not even a good fighter. His NFL career ended 7 years ago so I can't imagine any NFL fans are buying PPVs just to see him. Every time he fights he's on the main card like he's some kind of draw. It's baffling.

I can not accurately describe the joy I get, when I see his over-confident walk out, the posing, and then see him quit at the first sight of adversity.

People want to see Hardy get beat up that's his draw,

Its not great for anyone. No one wants to watch 25 minutes of wrestling. Which is why no one goes to wrestling events and no broadcaster shows events on telly. BJJ the same. Boring.

I agree with you and is why apart from Israel adesanya every champion seems to be wrestling dominant hell even Francis ngannou is wrestling to victory now in his fights.

I get it it's mixed martial arts but it's entertainment more than anything and the the top 3 earners in UFC are all striking based which shows its the strikers that Maje Dana White the money and he may just have a problem approaching.

As an example - Khabib. One of the greatest ever. 25-0 at the time at UFC 223 when he won the title. His 4th last ever fight and his first PPV as a main eventer. 350,000 PPV buys. Pathetic.

In fairness, none of those 350k were because of the real estate broker he was fighting. Khabib at least looked to finish fights, Colby hasn't had a finish since he adopted the fake persona.

A big reason for such low paper view buys is there is about 4 UFC events a month now,

Remember back in the day a numbered card would be absolutely stacked the opening fight would be one that could main event now

I just picked a random number out of my head there and goggled UFC 92 the second fight after the openers was Rampage v Wanderlie , the cards don't have that depth anymore unless its international fight week ,Tried another one UFC 94 opening fight on the main card was Nate Diaz v Guida ,
