I keep getting pop-up adverts for Druids golf products.

The clothing items look nice and seem like good enough prices.

Has anyone any opinion on quality etc and I’m thinking about buying one of their rain jackets- are they slim/regular/ or big fitting?

    Thanks!

I've not got any of the wet gear so can't comment on it.

I've only got into golf in the last couple of years and found Druids was great for getting some bits and bobs to get started with. I've a couple of t-shirts, a mid layer and a couple of jackets and wear them frequently when playing.

They don't seem like the best quality in the world but they are generally cheaper than other brands so that's the pay off.

If I was buying something today I'd be getting Under Armour, FootJoy or one of the bigger brands but there's nothing wrong with Druids in my experience.

I bought shoes from them a while back and they didn't fit well so I bought a different pair in McGuirks.

I also bought their sunglasses when they were on sale for a fiver. Well worth the fiver but not much more than that. They're very flimsy and made ultra cheaply. The normal price on them is around 50 quid. If I paid that for them I'd be majorly disappointed tbh. I can't comment on the clothing but it looks nice and generally gets decent reviews. Have heard good things about their rain suits.

Druids as a company do my head in though. They absolutely plague you with emails and texts after you sign up. I had to unsubscribe after being bombarded with info on sales.

Also, their "sales" are a bit of a joke. They artificially pump up the price for a day and then put on a "massive sale."

I have got a few Druids items over the last few years. Mostly Tops but have got shoes etc as well. And the one thing the annoys me is there sizing. Sometimes medium fits then it doesnt its Large and then back to medium. And no I havent put on or lost any weight. I would pick them up in sales I dont think worth the full price. As to the wet suit a friend has one and he is happy with it for the price.

Yea thats the annoying thing is with the sizes, i have found the quality quite good. But i need L in the mid layers and XL or sometimes XXL in the t-shirts depends on the material.

What i do now though is go into Elverys, try them on, and then order off the website. Last time i done this i had to buy them in Elverys as Covid didnt let changing rooms be open. Bit of a balls, but they are half the price on the website compared to Elverys.

I have a good bit from Druids. I have always found the stuff good quality. I have the wet suit as well. Same problem with all wet suits I have ever had in that the bottoms are always falling down. Going to get them adjusted. But they work and are generally comfy.

I agree with people that their advertising is OTT and can be very annoying. But the offers can be very attractive. I got 2 midlayers for €75 recently. I have always used L with polos, midlayers and the wet gear and found the sizing to be fine.

I also use Stubert for good value gear.
