    Hello folks,

    I'm hoping someone can answer this for me. I cannot get a straight answer to it anywhere. i am planning on going to paris with my fiancee on the 24th of Feb. I currently have covid and I will be clear in time to go. The issue I am having is with the sworn declaration we have to sign before we go:

    SWORN UNDERTAKING TO COMPLY WITH RULES FOR ENTRY
INTO METROPOLITAN FRENCH TERRITORY

    (From green list countries)

    This statement shall be presented to the transport companies before boarding and to the border control authorities.

    The measures applied to vaccinated adults are extended under the same conditions to their accompanying minors, whether vaccinated or not.

    To be completed by the traveller:

    I, the undersigned,

    Mr/Mrs: ...

    Born on:

    Nationality:

    Residing at:

    Initial place of origin (city/country):

    Final destination (city/country):

    I hereby declare on my honour that I have not had any of the following symptoms during the last 48 hours:

    • Fever or chills ;

    • Cough or aggravation of my usual cough;

    • Unusual fatigue;

    • Unusual shortness of breath when I speak or make the slightest effort;

    • Unusual muscle aches and/or pains;

    • Unusual headaches;

    • Loss of taste or smell;

    • Unusual diarrhoea.

    I hereby declare on my honour that I have no knowledge of having been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 during the last fourteen days prior to departure.

    I hereby agree on my honour to take an antigen test or biological examination that may be conducted on arrival in metropolitan France (traveller aged above 12 years).

    The question I have is this:

    I hereby declare on my honour that I have no knowledge of having been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 during the last fourteen days prior to departure.

    My fiancee will obviously have been in contact with me in those 14 days. Does that mean she cannot gain entry? Does that also mean I cannot gain entry?

    To further complicate things, she is awaiting a PCR test result and should she come back positive, she will have cleared 11 days before the date of travel. At that point I would need to declare that I've been in contact with a covid case!

    Has anyone had any experience with a situation like this? We want to go if possible. We can't afford to just rock up and get sent home and just pay for the hotel!!!

    I've other questions but best to start with that!

    Thanks for any help you can offer.

    She definitely can't enter so whether you can or not is a moot point.
