    4.55 Wolverhampton

Three picks here in this Class 6 'Hands And Heels' Apprentice Handicap

    DARK DESIGN 2/1 win

Topweight, having his 3rd run for Henry Spiller since leaving Ireland.. Finished 3rd lto over C & D when staying on late.. Was a winner previous to that when winning over 6f at Chelmsford... that was from off the pace as well, so slightly different tactics I feel, and Dark Design should go close...

    STREET POET 12/1 ew

Put him up lto when he didn't fare so well.. That race was over a furlong and a half further though, so won't read a lot into it.. Is a multiple C & D winner and a big double figure price, so there's that; although he does give the impression that he's 'gone at the game' as of late, with narys the decent showing since April of last year. Big price tho 😆 Pity; as I was hoping he'd be bigger..

    MACS DILEMMA 6/1 ew

Drawn widest of all in 12. Is a recent C & D winner though, from December, and he wasn't beaten too far lto from a similarly poor draw in 10, when he was a bit unlucky in running.. Is a hold up horse, so a wide draw should be fine. Another one that's come from Ireland, and it will be only his fourth outing for his new trainer J G M O'Shea, so is perhaps well enough handicapped also.

A few hopeful ones - only downside is the poor prices... They might drift yet.. was hoping prices be 4s+ , 20s+ , and 8s.... € win and 50c ew bout all they're worth at current readily available prices...

I looked, I found them, and; rubbish prices or no, I needs to get off 'cold list' , so they gon go get put up, up in hyahh ;)

Gluck all who be punting 😊

4:55 Wolves, Dark Design is my notebook too but in hands&heels hdc I'd like to back him e/w, so I leave alone him this time.

I'm on Shamlaan in 6pm race, presuming he had excuses here last time, and on Inexplicable e/w in 8pm race, he has recent course form and might stay for places at least, PP is paying 4. GL.

Not betting but have to say that fav gitmaker looks a class apart in the 12.30. On a drift to nearly even money. I was tempted to bet but holding off.

Git Maker has some set of lungs. He was huffing and puffing a fair way out there but ploughed on.

Again not betting, but if I was, I'd be backing kotmask to win in the 1.15. Looks well in in this handicap. Given Mark of 119 but horse looks better than that. Again looks class apart in this particular race.

Close, but no cigar there, with Street Poet alright.. Not even a headbobber, so can't claim 'bad luck' 😋

WD on Shamlaan j@u - ee won nicely so he did! I will cheer for your other pick , Inexplicable, in 8.00 (if I is still watching)

Gitmaker another win for the thread for Hello 2D

nice for ye who got de winners today :)

back to drawing board for me,,

Luck weren't on your side there j@u in 8 o'c.. Goes from jolly at just outside furlong pole, to... nowhere :(

No luck with the other pick. More fun tomorrow, with plenty of time on my hands (yeah, covid called into our household too).
