2 year NCT for nearly 10 year old car

    I have a car that was first registered in December 2012 in the UK with a current NCT valid until April 2023. Am I right in thinking if I do the NCT before the car is 9 years and 9 months old (August/ September 2022) and it passes, I will get a 2 year cert?
