I notice there is no thread on the convoy crossing Canada its huge and Mr tyrant Trudeau has gone into hiding. Truckistan has a huge following its not being ccovered in the MSM of course as its against the narrative any thoughts? It is an amazing protest no violence or looting just peaceful objections to a future plutocracy surely we should have an opinion as these Canadians are just like we used to be before we became so submissive to the EU & so easy to manipulate.

A quick Google brings up multiple mainstream news sites discussing it including the BBC. I'm not feeling a whole amount of sympathy for them. If everyone had their attitude we wouldn't be exiting a pandemic at all. It also isn't really a hugely interesting news story for people in Ireland hence nobody really caring about it.

its about vaccine mandates we have already had three once they get mandates then it can be one every month if they like...... thats what it is about. Look at Austria making it law and fines of 3k if you dont comply. grand if you comply but absolutely wrong on so many levels.

no i just feel we will be obliged to have a vaccine mandate and i was very sick after my second shot. You cant imagine HOW ILL I WAS, thats why i was nervous to get another one so if theres a mandate i am going to be ill and uncomfortable and sore and un able to do anything like I was with 2nd shot. merely a litttle medical fear dont be soo mean to me. I had a bad shot and i am nervous to get any more i am not an anti vaxer.

You poor mite... I felt pretty sick after my first but y'know what COVID is far more unpleasant. And plenty of us know people who have been seriously ill or have died from it. So this is most likely why nobody less could care less about some annoyed truckers.

I had a bad reaction to all vaccine doses, but it was nothing compared to what having covid was actually like. Also, the chance of dying is much less when vaccinated. Give me the vaccine any day rather than covid!

Could someone tell Trudeau that the pandemic is over, geez, not as if it's a secret. How does he not know this, they've rode the Omicron wave, they're on a downward spiral with cases, now is the time to embrace herd immunity by lifting all restriction, not create new ones. Mass gatherings are the way to go right now, it's the perfect weapon in the current climate against Covid.

Fair play to the truckers. Mandatory vaccines are an abhorrent abuse of bodily autonomy. Omicron is little more than a head cold, there is no need whatsoever at this point in the pandemic to be mandating vaccination.

I suspect the kickback the OP is referring to is from those who gladly took the vaccine thinking it was the way out of the pandemic and are too proud to admit they were sold a pup. They then double-down on abuse towards those who hold differing opinions on the vaccines.
