The Wales backline is still very dangerous. We should be on top in the forwards but I've too many memories of fantastic walks defensive performances to take it for granted.

In the end I think we'll have too much for them but it'll be within a converted try to make the last few minutes nerve wracking.

Bookies have Wales +14 I'm told.

I think if ireland play with the form they have in Autumn and and Wales having alot of missing players and others out of position, I think +14 is very do-able

Should be a comfortable win in the end, I expect Wales to come flying out and try to use Adams in attack very early before he's blown away by Aki Conan and VdF running at him.

Very excited. Woke up earlier than usual and haven't been able to get back to sleep. On paper, surely Ireland have this comfortably but it is Wales. The media this week has been a broken record of "write them off at your peril".

The Welsh squad is fairly decimated. If Ireland cant beat them today - particularly in mind of their recent form - then they can kiss any hopes of winning the tournament goodbye.

I anticipate a fierce and sometimes brutal contest, but I believe Ireland will be a class above the Taffs and win a shade cosily.

Noticed that. I don't think I've ever once seen Wales as high as 16/1 to win a 6 (or 5) Nations before. Obviously the bookies are fully aware of the numerous absentees of first choice players in the Welsh squad. They've no chance whatsoever of winning the competition as things stand.

Its the year before a World cup.

If there is one team in the world that knows how to peak before a world cup its Ireland. We are experts at selling tickets to the hype train 12-18 months before the event.

An irish win, but not as comfortable as many make out, and wales could well sneak it with a bounce of the ball or a red card or jaco P special.

The big thing could quickly become injuries. We have a few key players missing before today and with a trip to france you dont want many more on the treatment table.

Poor regional form generally doesn't seem to affect the Welsh players at test level. Couple that with a good lead in time to analyse Ireland's attacking patterns and I can see this being a very cagey game. Ireland have a stronger squad, but I don't think we'll romp home either.
