Questions about Centre Parcs Europe (NL & DE)

    Hi folks,

Looking at one of the Centre Parcs resorts in Europe for holiday this year. Most likely the Netherlands or Germany.

I know they're a bit different to the park in Ireland so I've a few questions for anyone who has been there

    • In general how would you rate the parks compared to Longford forest? I know most of them are older, but are they generally well maintained?
    • I'm debating the half-board option, can you only go to particular restaurants if you select that? If so, would it be better to just pay as you go?
    • We'd probably be flying over and getting to the park by public transport or taxi. So far only Park Zandvoort near Amsterdam seems accessible by public transport, did anyone gets taxis or shuttle services?
    • Do all of the parks have indoor soft play areas for young kids (~2 and 5 years old)? Some of them advertise the Baluba indoor play world, other just have the adventure shed. I'm wondering are they basically the same thing?

Thanks in advance for your help!
