    Hi,

Can anyone recommend a really good affordable mechanic in Limerick City can do a NCT precheck of my motor and give me an honest assessment of the vehicle.

    Thanks.

The best and cheapest pre check NCT is the NCT test itself. Pre NCT checks can be just guesswork and can also be a license to print money for garages with charges for whataboutery stuff that may or may not fail. Put the car through the test yourself and then get a list of things need fixing if it fails. Obviously do the basic visual checks yourself in advance like making sure all the lights are working, condition of tyres, etc as outlined in the NCT manual.
