Hi there

Have been quoted 480 parts only for the RHS drl module from my local.

Bit shocked as didn't think it would cost this amount.

Any options apart from buying from the dealer? And if so is it easy to fit?

Dealer possible ask 1480 + labor. Typically these are made such way, it is not worth time to repair. Before buying be 100% the problem is on module, not somewhere else.

A quick google will show you they are available for much less than that. Just pick the right one for your headlights (Halogen or Xenon).

These can fail if water gets into them. Sometimes they will come back once everything dries out. I had mine fail after getting the car washed one day but it fixed itself once it dried out and has been fine since. Easy enough to fit, but can be a bit fiddly to get access to it and the bolts.

Thanks for that... Is it a wheel and cover off job or can you access / is there enough room with a full cut of the wheel? Appreciated

If I was doing it I would take the wheel off along with the wheel arch liner. It just gives better access and its easy to remove the liner anyway.
