Tortured by Seetac even though I have found employment

I received a letter last summer from seetac - people's 1st asking me to participate in their jobpath scheme. I had heard about them and wasn't particularly keen, I was warned if I didn't participate my JSA would be cut. To cut a long story short I found a job, a few months before Christmas, I rang the employment advisor to let her know and ever since I have been hounded by them. Emails and constant calls at the start asking me to confirm, if I'm still working for the company and how many hrs I'm working. This is still going on now, sadly my hrs have recently been cut (hoping that will change in the future). Earlier this week I received an email from the main seetac department in Dublin - the validation advisor, asking me to confirm my hours and if I'm still with the company, is this a step to far? The local employment advisor must have gave my details to the main office, to get more information? I'm very annoyed, I found this job myself (they have been no help anyway) is this really about them claiming commission and trying to state they found me employment? I don't know what to do as I want them to leave me alone

Block thier phone numbers. Add emails to spam but not before advising them you will be informing your local TD and the DEASP you got the job yourself without any help and that seetec are harassing you.

OP, let me me be Blunt.

There's ample horror stories about this shower and indeed Turas Nua across Boards and beyond.

Quite simply this is blatant harassment and to stop it, simply email SW , preferably a local Intro Centre. Advise them you obtained a Job yourself and when , Demand the harassment stops and detailed the numerous calls, emails etc, I'd also copy Seetac on the email.

In addition and this drives seetac wild, Post a message on the DEASP Twitter feed , I can guarantee an almost immediate response , they don't like these appalling situations mentioned on Social Media.

Confirm absolutely nothing and have no direct contact with Seetac from now on.

It's crucial you advice DEASP You obtained the job yourself with zero support of input grom Seetac.

It astonishes me this disgraceful behaviour still going on and tolerated by DEASP.

This is all about fee income, its disgusting, I made formal complaints about such behaviour years ago and it went legal and involved my local TD getting involved. Take absolutely no guff from this odious shower.

Makes my blood boil hearing this is still going on 😡

    Good luck and act ASAP

Agreed but I've gone further 😏 Disgusting behavior , the money that's been paid out to this shower is breathtaking, over €230 million between them an Turas Nua with little of no success 😡

I'm curious OP as to how you are getting on. Hope they are leaving you alone now. Did you need to contact them to let them know you found employment? Maybe just contacting the DSP would have been enough as they would just close your claim as you were in employment. They would also congratulate you on finding employment too so well done, congrats. Take care.
