they found her but was she charged or fined .
I've heard of TMI but.... NEI??
(Not Enough Information)
I think the fine was the least of her problems..........she was so easily identified & lambasted ( rightly so) it was the total embarresment & shame that was her biggest penalty.
Shooting off on a bit of a tangent here......but the car that the engine was smoking ( went on fire) that drove into the car park in Douglas, Cork & caused multi million €€ damage.......any idea whatever happened in that case?? Who got the big bill????
that seems far enough. decent fine and no charges. she didnt intend to cause the pile up
this is the most recent story i can find on the car fire
Thanks for that.......yeah, it seems as if it's gone off to be a protracted legal case.....no doubt loads of lawyers will make a killing.
opel would be terrified of a precedent being set i suspect, liable for damage by a car well out of warranty and where it might not be their fault if recall work wasn't completed.
Plus the hundred other variables........ if I remember correctly the car HAD issues/ was smoking before being driven into car park.... it'll be a job putting whichever insurance company 'on the hook'
