Does your car have the coming home light function?

ie. do any exterior lights turn on for a period of time after locking or unlocking the car.

On my Skoda the lights need to be in the Auto position for this function to work. Does yours have auto lights?

Yea, I would be familiar with how they work.

it’s not my car, family member bought a 2020 seat arona.

I noticed when I was getting a look at the car no lights came on when was unlocked or locked, it was dark.

the 162 Ibiza before it even had that.

she was back at the garage and they said it doesn’t have coming home lights or Auto wipers which I found odd also when looking at it.

the arona is down as an FR plus which it is , but the spec is weird.

it is fully loaded , front and rear cameras.

front, rear and Side parking sensors, auto xenon lights ,Auto lights, Auto parking , stop start, beats sound system,

only thing it’s missing are electric heated seats and auto wipers .

Just wondering about other aronas as I would think considering everything else that is in the car that it would have auto wipers also.

I was wondering if the car might have a dodgy battery and it was saving it by not using the coming home lights.

or it could be some demonstrator with a weird spec if that was a thing.

There is usually a setting for home lights in the infotainment settings menu under lighting that allows you to change the home lights delay time on how long they stay on. That is of course if the car is fitted with follow me home lights

    Thanks

she has the manual, it was bought from a seat dealer , they have said it doesn’t have auto lights or wipers , which I found odd considering every other feature the car has.

Not having both would annoy me greatly especially if I had expected to get them

it has auto lights , It doesn’t have that coming home function or auto wipers.

the garage said aronas didn’t have the coming home feature until the new model.

ill Be keeping an eye out in car parks for people locking their aronas or somebody here can tell me what theirs does.
