Double sided tape for vinyl interior

Any recommendations for tape that actually sticks to the shiney part of a cars interior? Tried 3M and Gorilla, both stick for a few hours then detach from the panels.

I have a protective cover for the boot pf an Xtrail and the cover was made especially for the car. It has velcro to attach from cover to paneling, the original velcro tape that came with it was strong but lost it's stickiness over time. All the tapes I've tried stick to the velcro side no problem, just when the other side is stuck to the paneling it just won't stay stuck.

Use sandpaper and clean the surface by alcohol. If the surface is not flat enough, think about foam type double side tape.
