Third Learning Permit - Is Driving Test Waiting List Enough?

Hi, I'm looking to renew my learner permit and have booked an appointment in an NDLS centre next week to do so. As it's my third permit I need proof that I have applied for a driving test before I can renew. Is being on the waiting list enough to confirm this? I've already paid the €85 to be added to it.

Great thanks,so I just apply for the estimator thing,pay the fee and they'll send email or something is it? I've already an apt made in the local ndls for mid April but estimator was giving end of June for the invitation🫣

How long your learner permit is valid for

A first and second learner permit are normally valid for two years. In order to get a third or subsequent learner permit you must have booked or sat and failed the driving test in the previous two years. 

If you have sat and failed a driving test in the previous two years you will be issued with a two-year learner permit.  

If you have booked or have an upcoming driving test you will be issued with a one-year learner permit.

Yes, once you have proof you are on the waiting list, that is enough.
