    Hi

Would anyone have the above for sale? Doesn't need to be in perfect nick - just to get an old bike rebuilt on the road again.

    Based in Dublin.

Hard to find......but....there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Shimano 8spd wheels will be easier to find (actually any modern shimano-compatible freehub bodied wheel, with a spacer and 8spd cassette fitted!)

Get a JTEK Shiftmate particular to your setup (there's a compatibility chart on their website), which will allow you to happily use a mix of Shimano/Campag and bob's your uncle.

    Thnks 8Valve.

I'm aware of them but ideally would like to find some original wheels.

Becoming like hen's teeth so may have to go down the alternate routes - looking overseas too - there's a nice pair of Atlanta 96 on LFGSS but I'd say import duty would be nuts.

At the Eroica there was a jumble sale and mountains of retro bit for sale in all sorts of conditions.

Look at retro groups, facebook steel retro groups and such like.

Ebay too is a good source.

    Thanks Rob.

I was actully at eroica this year but this bike has only come along this week. It has mainly 8 speed record but no wheels unfortunately.

I'd like to keep it original as much as possible.

    Morning,

I have a set of Campag Proton wheels from 95-96 (I think) there is an 9 speed cassette on them but I believe they take the 8 also, if interested let me know and I can email you pictures.
