Pre pay power meter with electric ireland supply - No electricity

    Hi

Recently purchased an apartment that had a pre pay power meter installed. We have switched to electric ireland for supply and have confirmed with them and esb networks that we are connected and have a connection agreement.

However, there is no power in the apartment though and we seem to be going around the houses when trying to get an answer on the phone as to how to resolve this.

Would this be due to the pre pay power meter being in place? Does that need to be removed before we will have power in the apartment?

Anyone have any experience of this scenario?

    Thanks
