I have looked at the options and a lot of the threads already here. For a larger bloke 6' 2' 18 stone can you recommend a bike a saw some review where the reviewer said they were 5' 8' and had the seat and handles all maxed out etc.

can you recommend a comfortable exercise or spin bike on that basis? thx

https://www.fitstore24.com/en/schwinn-ic8-indoor-bike this one was recommended slightly higher than I hoped to spend.

I’d get a comfortable recumbent exercise bike.

spinning bikes tend to be really uncomfortable and given you are tall too…

proform 325 CSX are great I have one…

this is the newer updated version

Yeah bought an exercise bike from argos (couldn't afford a spin bike) I regularly do spin/les mills in gym and tried out my brothers Peleton in Uk shortly before i bought. it is night and day. i'm 6,2 118kgs.

Its a clothes horse really. i'm trying to do a few minutes here and there, but you can't get enough movement going on them imo. i suppose any action is better than nothing. but if peleton was here i'd buy in the morning. there was a few spin bikes on amazon germany that were decent but not great for tall people.

Spin isn't hyped , its going to take a while to get your HR in the same zone on a normal exercise bike. you can go hell for leather on them and this isn't what normal exercise bikes were designed for imo.

if its weight loss your after spin and high hr work is your only friend.

I can go for an intense hour on a spin bike no problem without comfort issues. Its all about the correct size adjustments.
