Hi,

looking to get alloys for my VW golf. I’ve found a cheap website but it’s asking me for loads of information I.e Centre hole and width. I have no clue. When I try to select by make and model my car doesn’t show.

its a 2010 VW Golf 1.2

I’d sooner buy used original VW alloys than cheap aftermarket ones.

As said above buy oem vw alloys, there's plenty out there for sale

Beware if you change factory fit wheels you at least need to notify your insurer of the change, each time you renew. It might cost nothing extra but they might refuse to pay out if you are in a crash and did not notify them in advance.

And you need to teach to car computer the new tyre size if you install different size. Same size, no problem

Different size means different speed. If you do not have a computer for programming, it is your problem.

"OEM" Alloys come from an alloy wheel manufacturer just pick a reputable brand of wheels and avoid chinese copies!

To be absolutely fair as much as I hate his replies, they do have different adaptation values for the abs and you must recode if you change the wheel size on any VAG group car later than 2004 ish.
