Tv 65'': €1k budget

Hi guys, I'm looking to upgrade my LG 49sm8200PLA Nanocell to a 65''.

The ideal budget is e1k with a room to go up to e1.2k for a no brainer deal.

I was thinking to stick with LG Nanocell models such as 65NANO866PA but I was would love to have the backlight from Philips 65OLED705/12

What would you suggest?

Hi Domicio, thanks for the post!

The OLED would definitely give the best picture as it doesn't use a conventional backlight so the colour and contrast is a huge step above the Nanocell TVs which look a little washed out in comparison. We are completely sold out of the 65OLED706 at the moment though (the 705 is also discontinued) and I have no incoming date for new stock.

I do have very limited stock of the 65OLED856 though but you would be looking at a large jump in price:

Thanks, David. Unfortunately the 65OLED856 is completely out of my budget if I don't want to lose my wife hahaha

I've also seen that the 705 doesn't have HDMI 2.1 while the 65OLED706 has 2 HDMI 2.1, which is a must!

So I'd say it's better to wait for a good deal on any 65'' OLED tv, is that right?

Yeah I'd probably hold off for the sake of domestic bliss!

I will keep an eye out for the 706 arriving back into stock and give you a shout if there are any deals available!
