    Hi there

After a tough start to secondary school, our daughter received an ASD diagnosis at the age of 16. This followed an ADHD diagnosis when she was 14 and associated mental health difficulties for which she is getting treatment. She does well considering her learning differences and is reasonably outgoing, so should be OK to continue in a mainstream school if we can find the right supports. She is currently in TY at a school that doesn't suit our needs. Our main concern is that communication and structure are very chaotic, the SEN resources are limited and we are worried that she is falling through the cracks. We would like her to go to a school that will work with us better in helping her reach her potential. She is our only child so we can go public or private if we make the necessary sacrifices. Also, we rent our home, so we are not tied to a particular area. We are not from Ireland and can sometimes find it difficult to navigate the terrain. Any recommendations/advice would be gratefully accepted!! Thanks so much!
