Family law solicitor recommendation please

    Hi all,

My daughter is 13 (14 in February). Her father and I split when she was 5. His behaviour towards her has gotten progressively worse. (over the years he seems to pay less attention to hiding his narcissistic behaviour and has few friends and short lived relationships)

My daughter is suffering as a result and doesn't want to spend alternative weekends with him but she doesn't want to hurt his feelings by not going. She's also afraid of him...

The last straw was Christmas day, she spent the evening and night with him. She gave him his gifts and he gave her a card and told her that he was sick of buying her presents. He spent the next 25 hours being horrible to her. But showered his parents with gifts. Poor girl came back to me in tears on the 26th and doesn't want to see him for a while. She's hurt and angry and doesn't know how to deal with it. She has a therapist and has spiken with her and her BFF about her dad. I think she writes about it in her journal too.

So my question is does anyone know of a hard assed solicitor who isn't afraid to stand up to him. We have an out of court agreement for access etc. But I want to support her in deciding for herself when she wants to see him and if he starts verbally/emotionally abusing her that she can leave. Effectively I want her access to be on her terms. She's a good, empathetic kid and doesn't deserve this. Any experience of family court or recommendations greatly appreciated

Unfortunately the charter prevents people from making recommendations on here. I wish you all the best with what sounds like a very difficult situation.
