Am I right in saying my son cannot play online i.e. login to the EA servers because he has a child account on the Switch?

As far as I know the online services are 12+ so you’d need to be thinking of that while setting up the account. Not sure if age can be adjusted afterwards

It is really piss poor that you can’t even download team update! So all the transfers etc are outdated i.e. Ronaldo not with Man. Utd!

FIFA on switch is a joke, exact same game for four years with some updated kits/squads. EA should be ashamed of themselves but they couldn't give a flyer.

Thinking back my young lad was able to play splatoon and mario kart online. Maybe you need to set up an adult account and then family account and add him to it

I think it’s am EA thing. He has Splatoon 2 and it’s fine. It should be based on what’s allowed via. the Nintendo adult account as I think if I had an adult profile I’ll need to buy an additional adult subscription!
