EU261 how long to decide?

due to travel at the start of feb with ryanair. booked it before omicron, and didn’t go with the flexible fare option, so in 2 minds about travelling. I’ve been given a get out of jail card; my original flight is rescheduled by 1 day so under EU261 I have a no. of options (helpfully explained in the email from ryanair).…

I’ve been given a get out of jail card; my original flight is rescheduled by 1 day so under EU261 I have a no. of options (helpfully explained in the email from ryanair).
What is not clear is how long I have to decide which option I want. The closest I can see is that they have to “Refund of the cost of their ticket within 7 days if not wishing to travel”, but that does not imply I have to decide within 7 days?
Not looking to take the p*, but would like to know where I stand.
