Replacement Bathroom Fan

I need to replace an Electric fan in the main bathroom that is 12+ years old. There is an Isolator switch for the main bathroom. I bought a new fan, Manrose Gold control type standard that has three terminal types, live, neutral and L/S. When I removed the old to take a look, it has two wires, brown for live and blue for neutral. Have I bought an incorrect fan?

Take an image of existing wires/terminal markings in situ and an image of new one and post here.

Thanks, I put the old one back u for now. The existing fan has two terminals, one live and one for neutral. The new fan has an extra terminal for L/S but I only have two wires.

Ok, so your old fan went off when light switched off ( that is no time delay)?

If so, then with new, neutral to N.

Put a bridge wire between L and LS and connect your brown to L or LS.
