Apologies if this is a dumb question but i havent bought a tablet in years...
Looking at a tablet on amazon germany which is cheaper than buying from amazon uk because of duties...
Would there be anything i need to look out for?. My main concern is that the play store would still allow me download Irish apps etc.... RTE player for example..
Bought two tablets this year from Amazon.de for the kids couldn't believe delivery time was so quick this was in November and worked out cheaper than I could get anywhere else for same specs
it is included in the price. When you checkout on Amazon UK they subtract the UK VAT which is 20% and then add on the Irish VAT which is 23%. They label it as Import Fees Deposit but it is Irish VAT.
Having bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 lite from amazon de this year. I'd have no hesitation recommending the table and the purchase. Perfect delivery. Great Tablet and best price I could find. Don't be afraid to toggle between the colours and the 4G and WiFi or WiFi only options when buying as the price difference can be huge. I got a 4G and WiFi one for less than the WiFi only was selling for.
I have bought both Samsung phones and tablets from amazon.de over the years and have had no issues with play store or otherwise. Once a tablet was faulty, would not hold connection to wi-fi but Amazon.de sent replacement immediately with I think 10 days or so to return the faulty item.
