I knocked breaker off to change a switch today and took battery out of alarm to stop it going off.

When I got everything sorted and put back on it is as if the alarm forgot its code and wont arm or unarm? It still goes off if I press the button on the board but its like I need to set the code again and I'm unsure how to do so. Any help cheers.

I know this system is very old but was just wondering could anyone help in anyway.

The factory link could of fallen off and now you have defaulted the system.

Only way to fix is to reprogram it.

Upon using these codes can I set the code previously used, I probably did default system that seams issue.

Altor probably has a better memory than me but here’s what I remember

in engineer mode

press 44 then new code then *for user code(4 to 6 digits don’t use 0)

press 45 then new code then*for engineer code(4 to 6 digits don’t use 0)

God my memory isn't what it used to be either.

I thought it was 18 for engineer code and 16 for user code.

User 16, new code then star.

Engineer 18 new code star.

Old analog panel. Made in coolock Dublin 5. Fantastic panel.

The vista 5 more used in commercial premises. Was used in domestic aswell.

On this panel had like itec/ aritec cp32 it had keypad built into the panel. The vista 5 you could use optional keypad.
