Will I need to repeat my lessons?

So I want to finish off my lessons and get back into driving again. For some reason as I was halfway through my 12 lessons I decided to stop. I have 7 lessons done previously, my last lesson being January 2020 - Almost 2 years ago. My learner permit is still valid due to the extensions they added onto it because of the pandemic so I won't have to renew that thankfully. But, I'm just wondering since its been so long since my last lesson, will I have to repeat those 7 lessons again and start from scratch? I've heard that you need to complete all 12 lessons within a 12 month time frame. Is this true?

Also, I did my lessons in a manual, and I'm thinking about doing the rest in an automatic as I want to get an automatic car in the future. Will this affect things too?

I had a large gap between starting my lessons and finishing them (at least 4 years I think) which included letting my permit expire and the renewing it, you're fine in that respect.

Don't know personally about manual v automatic, but can't imagine it'd be a problem. It's what you take the test itself in that matters.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test
