Sky FTTH feedback please

I am currently using Vodafone 500MB FTTH, and my contract is about to expire. Renewal will cost €45 per month. Sky is offering 500MB FTTH with offpeak national calls to landline for €30 monthly + €50 cash back for a 12-month contract via onebigswitch. At the moment, it appears to be the best offer in the market for FTTH. I'd never dealt with Sky before. I appreciate hearing from people who use Sky FTTH. Thanks

I signed up 2 weeks ago TV got installed BB to be installed today only to get call to say cancelled and next appointment is 30th. How can they leave me that long without BB. Unbelievable. Trying contact anyone is a nightmare. These people are really nice and helpful until you sign up.

If you are switching provider then you should be able to plug in the new router received in the post and continue BB. unless you are upgrading from FTTC to FTTH then a technician visit is required.

As far as I'm aware Vodafone is only €35 a month with anytime calls for 500mb. Maybe you are getting the price for 1gb broadband.

Thx jus I tried that but I was with virgin so they use a different line in, looks like the old line is dead as I tried a phone in first then connected modem but not registering. Can see wifi network broadcasting but no internet. These people really have you over a barrel.

Packed Sky FTTH 500mb with TV (including sports).

No complaints whatsoever, speeds well up on 400-450 in the evening with no problems. Very prompt with any queries I've had (renovating soon and will need to disconnect the ONT etc.) so I can only recommend them.

You will get a 10% discount on the package you select. I think anyone can avail it as they didn't asked for a energia account number from me.Check out the link.
