Now TV versus Sky Cinema

We live in the country and don't have high speed broadband and we have to rely on Imagine which can be up and down. We have the standard Entertainment package from Sky which comes in on the Satellite dish as we don't have Sky Q. Last year when we had Now TV, it was a bit of a dissapointment as there was a lot of buffering, stopping etc. We have another family member using Xbox online which is a big drain on the Wifi and causes arguments around movie time. My understanding is that the Sky Cinema and Now TV are basically the same package and the cost is the same now as well as Sky have an offer on the Sky Cinema at €10 per month. Am I right in thinking that if we purchase the Sky Cinema package for the Christmas that the movies will come in over the satellite dish and there is no use of the broadband as opposed to Now TV which is a streaming service and depends on the quality of the broadband?
