Dairymaster Drafting System with Electronic Tags

We have a Dairymaster Drafting system we put in around 2011. A few years ago we used electronic tags on a crop of heifers but two years later when they came into the herd the drafting system kept catching the heifers with the electronic tags even though they didn't have a transponder on the tail, which was a nightmare to sort during AI season. We had to replace all the electronic tags with normal ones and this solved the problem. New Department of Ag legislation will require all Irish farmers to used electronic tags in 2023 so I can see a potential problem coming down the line. I was told since then that this is a problem with these drafting systems. We used a Mullinahone electronic tag at the time. Just wondering if anyone else has come across this issue and if they were able to solve it?
