    No I most definitely am not. Let me remind you about who was visiting Tehran a month ago. The guy visiting was Vladimir Putin who happens to be Russia's leader. China invested into Iran a few years ago.

    Countries like Iran go from one power to the other and are exploited. Until 1979 it was an American sphere of influence. Now it is a Russian and Chinese one. In future it could go back to the Americans or you could have a West Iran and East Iran division. This sort of thing is what has always happened. There are really only 2 maybe 3 (if you consider China and Russia separate) main powers in the world and every other country has to align itself to them to a greater or lesser extent.

    Ever wonder why there are few rich oil producers? Most are slaves to their alliance with whatever power they are in bed with. A rich independent oil country could afterall become a superpower in its own right so that is why Iran, Iraq, etc. are all kept down by the powers that be.

    Are they though? The Iran v's Israel/USA situation could come to a head, with some form of externally imposed/encouraged regime change in Tehran; why not?

    The USA v's Russia/China (well, they're not true allies, but) analysis may be a bit simplistic, but it surely is the greatest global geopolitical face off we have today? The lesser players are also playing geopolitics in their own respective regions too, but those conflicts cannot be separated from the global context.

    None of that comes close to "they own it" and of course Vlad the Mad is cosying up to anyone in conflict with the West - he's desperate.

    Let us hope both these regimes wipe each other out ... Israel is in constant warmongering mode .. and Ebrahim Raisi/Ali Khamenei stole the 2021 Iranian election .... it is time these far right murderers are ejected from power forever ... international scum ..
