Anyone got a working electronic shock collars that they no longer have use for and want to sell?

Desperate times call for desperate measures, trying to teach a dog to recall, 5 year old GSP breaking my heart at the moment.

Thanks for that Cass!…. I didn’t see the other posts, but the previous owner of the dog was going to shoot it….

I am only going for the shock collar as a last resort, I think the optics of me running across a field after a dog only to drag it back by the scruff of its neck yelping and howling to where I called it from would be just ammunition for the antis. Especially with the popularity of videos and social media these days.

A few bangs off the collar should do the trick she’s quite biddable, she has a good nose but she’s mad for hunting and heading for country.

    deeks,

I had the exact same issue with my GSP - used a shock collar( actually used the shock only twice) and the dog was sorted in about 2 hours of training.

All he really needed was something to make him pay attention to the whistle, rather than his attention on "doing his own thing"

They are a great piece of kit if used properly.

My one is on loan to another lad in the club who is having the same issues with a setter, but if he is finished with it, you are welcome to a loan of it.

No point in buying one for 2-3 hours work.

    I'll keep you posted.
