Are covid certs needed for a hotel stay?

EDIT: Anyone else looking at this, I just got an answer back from the hotel - they do not require covid cert for a stay.

I stayed in a hotel last month. They never even mentioned it.

No you don’t need a cert if you are staying in the hotel.

You can't walk in off the street to a hotel bar unless you have a covid cert. 🤚

You can book into the hotel without a covid cert, then go to the bar. 👍️

Great excuse for a night away with the better half.

You can't stand within 1 metre of someone in the queue to a nightclub 🤚

But once you hit the dancefloor you can gobble the face of them 👍️

Stayed in hotels within the State a number of times and availed of the dining and slurping facilities.

I believe it's called "following the science" (registered trademark).
