HEO ICT in Civil Service 2021 vs Grade VI ICT Technology Officer - HSE 2021

    HSE recently had advertised for HSE - Grade VI ICT Technology Officer role in various streams, which is closed now.

    How would HEO ICT role compare with this in terms of salary, annual leave, work load, career growth prospects, upskilling etc?

    Which one would be a good place to work - HSE or Civil Service?

    HEO in CS is equivalent to a Grade 7 in HSE. (not a Grade 6)

    Salary Scale for HEO ICT:

    €50,345 €51,816 €53,284 €54,752 €56,226 €57,694 €59,164 €61,286(LSI1) €63,404(LSI2)
