Annual Leave

    Hi

Our company had told us if we don’t use all our annual leave by 31 December we lose it and cannot carry anything forward.

Is this allowed or is there an allowance where a certain number of days can be carried forward to say Q1 for example.

Nothing in our contract or staff handbook so wondering is there something in the legislation which allows for employees to carry over some number of days or is it all at the discretion of the employer.

    Thanks
