Stove Hot Water Temperature control

    Hi,

I would like to make my heating system more efficient.

I have a Strafford EB20 multi-flue stove and Honeywell Evohome TRV controllers on every radiator expect one for heat dump in case all valves are closed.

Issue is that the oil boiler is turning on when stove is up to temperature. I would like to give priority to the stove. If the stove drops in temperature for a predetermined time the oil boiler then kicks in to meet demand.

    Has anyone done something similar?

I was thinking of fitting a temperature sensor on the outlet pipe of the stove and fit maybe a raspberry pi controller/PLC?
