Bank holiday and Overtime in same pay in same week?

Hello, I work 4 day/week, 12h days and normally get paid 40h standard rate and 8h overtime rate. In this week there was a Bank Holiday, which I worked. Hello,
I work 4 day/week, 12h days and normally get paid 40h standard rate and 8h overtime rate. In this week there was a Bank Holiday, which I worked. My company is stating they will pay me 12h double rate for Bank Holiday and 36h standard rate for the following days. Shouldn't that be 12h for Bank Holiday (double rate), 28h standard rate and 8h overtime rate?
I cant find anything on this anywhere, my contract included.
Any one could chime in on this?
