Awkward Package Holiday - Advice / Steer Request

    Hi,

    2 parents with a 17 year old daughter looking for 2 weeks in easy to get to sun (Spain / Portugal) in July.

    We've been French campsite holidaymakers for ever but it's time to move on.

    I've been looking at both package and direct booking options and it seems the requirement for two bedrooms is pushing pricing to levels I'm finding hard to believe e.g. €5,000 or €6,000 for two weeks in 3-4 star self catering type hotels / aparthotels. I've also looked at AirBnB which we use for weekend breaks a lot but they seem equally expensive.

    Am I just out of touch with pricing or looking on the wrong websites?

    I'm happy to book accommodation directly and organise flights etc myself or go the full package route.

    Any help / steer in the right direction much appreciated.
