Hi,
My GF is Brazilian and has been in Ireland on a Student Visa until last year when she graduated, at which point she was issued a stamp 1G visa for for 12 months and then extended for a further 6 months. She is submitting her application for a Critical Skills Permit tomorrow, but her 1G is due to expire at the start of February so I was wondering can she request an extension of a month or two while she waits on her new permit?
