Not sure if this is most appropriate section, but does anyone know from experience if a standard waters softener will shunt 400ug Mn to below 50?

I just had a treatment system fitted. I was way over on lime, iron and some other stuff. I had it tested by Fitz Labs in Drogheda and then sent the results out to 4 treatment companies.

I have ended up with a multimedia treatment system and it seems to have done the job across the board. Best talk to a few treatment companies and see what they will recommend as some guys were offering a choice of 2 solutions to me but I went with the guy who had installed the well pump for me.
