What do u actually need at the airport coming back from Spain?

Hi guys I have an u vaccinated friend arriving from Spain this week. The gov website is very confusing. Does she need a pcr test or is antigen enough? What happens if she turns up at the airport with no pcr results?

They need a PCR test and a completed passenger locator form. Antigen tests are not accepted for entry into Ireland.

Without a PCR (or vaccine cert, or recovery cert) they'll be fined up to (and most likely exactly) €4k. Antigen test won't be OK and won't get off the fine.

Negative PCR test is fine. They won't be allowed board the plane without the negative PCR test. No test required if vaccinated.

PCR Test and passenger locator form. We came back from Malaga Sunday night in to Dublin and used the automatic passport scanners and werent asked for anything Covid related

Yes similar to my experience coming back from Portugal last week. No one either end asked for vaccine cert (which I had) or locator form which I had tried to fill out online on my phone but gave up after first attempt failed. Going over three weeks earlier I was asked to show my covid cert on phone by Portuguese immigration.

The fine is for failure to have the docs. The home quarantine is on top of that.

Most likely the airline won't let them on, and if they do they will likely not be checked in Dublin. But it's possible
