It is with regret that the Bunratty International Chess Festival Committee has to announce that the Tournament scheduled for date 18th. - 20th. February 2022 has been cancelled as the Bunratty Castle Hotel is undergoing refurbishments and will not be open in time for our annual tournament.
The committee is in consultation with the hotel for a possible date later in the year and if possible this will be announced early next year.
However we will run the on-line Blitz tournament at the date 19th. February 2022, more details to follow.
We have been assured by the hotel management that our usual date:
17th. - 19th. February 2023
is already confirmed and we look forward to welcoming you back to Bunratty 2023 at the “new look” hotel facilities.
