    I’m looking to buy my first car . Iv found a car that used to be a company car will I have any issues getting insured etc ?

    Shouldn’t have any issues really, I’m on a learners permit and picked up a 152 ex-company car recently.

    Got insured on it with no problems. Just get a quote off a few providers to see what is on offer.

    By company car do you mean car owned by a company or commercial vehicle. A commercial vehicle could be a problem as it would be like driving a van for insurance purposes. If you check the tax disc on it the text will either say private or commercial, alternatively put the reg in to motortax.ie to see.
