Ferco 635 Door Lock

I have a door with a Ferco 635 multipoint lock. I think a spring must have broken or come out of place as the handles are all 'floppy', hang down and have little feel/resistance. I had hoped that the mechanism would use spring cartridges but when I tool the handles off...no springs. I suspect the springs are in the lockset. does anyone know if these springs can be replaced or does the entire locking mechanism need to be replaced ?...are they expensive/hard to find ?
