I've been hoping to build a machine for gaming, but if needed I will order a prebuilt from the likes of pc specialist if needed.

1. What is your budget? [€2k (preferably including delivery and not going over budget)]

2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming]

3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [No]

4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? [Hard Drives]

5. Do you need a monitor? [No]

7. Are you willing to try overclocking? [No]

8. How can you pay? [Credit Card/Laser]

9. When are you purchasing? [Preferably as soon as I can, but can wait a week or two]

Yeah, not surprised to be honest. In this market that was actuallly a semi decent price for it.

There are other 3070TIs there for an extra 100, or you could go 3070 non TI. Basically just a 2080ti.

Been toying with the idea of a new rig myslf, 1070/6700k combo I built is well long in the tooth at this stage. Been very tempted by that prebuilt lenovo lately.

This comes in at €2625 on pcspecialist.ie, does it seem like good value or an absolute rip off? works out about 400 more than the lenovo but with a newer gen CPU and a 3070TI instead of a 3070. No liquid cooling though...

Not worth it, at all.

11700K is not faster than 10700K in any scenario, and is LESS efficient (i.e. higher power draw & heat)!

3070 Ti is only 7% faster than 3070 which can be made up with an undervolt+overclock.
