Hi. We are flying to LCY from DUB on 11th October. The flight is at 11:05. We plan to leave the house at 7:00 which should get us to the airport at 07:30 ish.

Is that enough time given the madness in the airport lately caused by covid?

BA only allow you to check in 24 hours in advance. We don’t have a printer at home. Is there self service kiosks in T1 for BA or will we also have to queue at a lengthy baggage queue to retrieve our tickets?

    Thanks

I flew two weeks ago and was through security in ten minutes.

3.5 hours is loads of time, and is too much time IMO. Even 2.5 hours should be plenty of time to check-in and get something to eat.

The queues have calmed a lot recently and the morning peak will be long over by the time you're flying at.

BA don't have kiosks at Dublin Airport.

For Dublin to UK travel - are they checking Passenger Locator Forms and Vaccination certificates? I know its not required as per UK Travel Advisory - but are the airlines following the same?

There no restrictions on Ireland to UK travel. It's effectively a domestic flight as far as the UK are concerned. The PLF is for Ireland so how could that be checked going to the UK?

I flew STN to DUB last weekend and there were no checks at all.

Can you not check in via the BA app?
