Anybody else think there is massive void in Irish radio since the untimely departure of Marian Finucane (RIP)?

I'm not sure that it's all down to the absence of MF. The quality of some of the new / up and coming presenters is atricious. I am now unable to listen to what was my go-to listen on the way home - DriveTime. Those two are terrible, especially the bloke. Sounds like they stole two 'DJs' from 98 FM and tried to make them sound serious.

Brendan O'Connor is growing on me - he's a different style and personality, but it could have been a lot worse......

Warming a bit to Brendan I love radio and have turned off the Sunday morning programs lately, It is mental health or misery pron a lot of the time. The big issue is social media had made everything very polished it's a sort of extreme reflexivity which means you don't get the characters anymore it all becomes a samey mashup.

I would like more economists and a bit more politics maybe.
