Pre-Planning meeting via phone

    Hi,

Hope someone here is in the know about what to expect at a Pre-Planning meeting call. We have been refused once, and we were going to be refused a second time, so we were advised to Withdraw our planning application.

I now have a Pre-Planning reference number and one of the Cork County planning officers is going to be calling me in the next few days/weeks.

Has anyone else here had to do their Pre-Planning meeting over the phone?

I have a medical issue that we didn't think to put in our first application, and when we entered it into the second one, they were going to refuse it because I didn't have that info on the first one (I presume they thought that it was only put in as an afterthought, but we had been advised on our first application to just put in the application as a basic, and see if it is refused, and we can go from there).

This has been going on for so long now, and the stress of not being able to afford to buy a house in this current climate and also not being able to build because of the A3 zoning planning restrictions is really getting to us both.

If anyone can give me advice for the call eg. what to have with me, what to expect on the call? Anything will help!🙂

    Thank you

    Maria
