Electric Ireland Smart Meter Plans - minimum sign up period before you can opt for another plan?

    Howdy,

    Just wondering if anyone knows offhand - re Electric Ireland Smart Meter Plans - is there a minimum sign up period to be on a selected plan before you can opt for another plan?

    I'm awaiting feedback from EI but it's a little slow...

    Any of their plans are generally for one year before you can opt for a new plan or change supplier.

    Although I do believe there is €50 penalty if you change suppliers before the year is up
